Through the first 12 games in the month of May, Allen Craig started 9 straight games at first base. Since then, he has started at first base in consecutive games only three times, and never more than two consecutive starts.
Well, today makes for the fourth such pairing of starts as Craig will man the first bag while the St. Louis Cardinals (39-35) look to make up ground in the NL Central, facing a struggling Miami Marlins (34-39) team.
