The St. Louis Cardinals (29-28) still haven't dropped below .500 in the 2012 season, and with their win on Wednesday the Cards are safe for another two days at least, so de facto staff ace Lance Lynn (8-2, 2.63 ERA) can focus on claiming a series win against the Houston Astros on Thursday. J.A. Happ (4-5, 4.31 ERA) will take the mound for the Astros, who still boast a very respectable 18-13 record at Minute Maid Park. As for the Cardinals, they are just 3-6 on their road trip going into the finale of their 10-game road excursion.
