Cardinals Vs. Reds Preview: Lance Berkman Could Make His Return To Lineup On Saturday

The St. Louis Cardinals offense has continued to preform well in 2012 despite being without slugger Lance Berkman since May due to a knee injury, but they are expected to finally get Berkman back on Saturday for their game against the Cincinnati Reds. Berkman posted a .333/.429/.571 batting line over 49 plate appearances before going down, while the Cardinals still rank No. 4 in runs (429), No. 2 in batting average (.275), No. 2 in on-base percentage (.341) and No. 5 in slugging (.432) as a team in 2012.

On Saturday, Kyle Lohse (9-2, 2.79 ERA) take the mound opposite Reds starter Mike Leake (3-6, 4.01 ERA).
