St. Louis Cardinals slugger Lance Berkman was officially activated from the disabled list on Saturday, and outfielder Shane Robinson was optioned to Triple-A Memphis as the Cardinals shifted their roster around for the remainder of their series against the Cincinnati Reds. Berkman has been on the road to recovery after undergoing knee surgery in May, and he posted an impressive .333/.429/.571 triple-slash batting line over 49 plate appearances before going on the DL. He is not in the starting lineup against the Reds on Saturday.

Robinson managed a .256/.304/.344 line over 125 plate appearances during his time with the major league team in 2012.
