Ryan Ludwick hit a one-out walk-off homer off Victor Marte in the bottom of the 10th as the Reds defeated the Cardinals for the second straight game, this time by a 3-2 score.
It was Marte's first batter faced after relieving Mark Rzepczynski.
Kyle Lohse made the start for St. Louis, allowing two earned runs over six innings. Mike Leake made the start for the Reds and allowed two runs over six-plus innings. Both runs allowed came in the seventh after the first three batters reached. Yadier Molina hit a solo home run, and Rafael Furcal reached on a bunt single to score David Freese. Furcal went 2-for-4 with a walk, while Skip Schumaker went 2-for-2 with two walks.
