Rockies Vs. Cardinals Final Score: St. Louis' Offense Goes Off In 11-6 Victory

The St. Louis Cardinals hit three home runs and received another solid pitching effort from Kyle Lohse during an 11-6 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night at Coors Field. The win moves the Cards to 55-48, while the Rockies fall to 37-64.

St. Louis scored four in the first inning on a two RBI double from Matt Holliday and a two-run homer from Carlos Beltran, his 24th of the season. Holliday would add his 19th homer of the year in the seventh inning, which was followed two batters later by David Freese's 15th bomb of the season. First baseman Allen Craig finished 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs in the victory.

Lohse improved to 11-2 on the season by allowing nine hits and five earned run over six innings.
