Rockies Vs. Cardinals Score Update: St. Louis Leads 6-0

The St. Louis Cardinals are leading 6-0 over the Colorado Rockies through six innings on Thursday night as they look to take the four-game series. The Cardinals outscored the Rockies 15-7 in taking two of the first three games in the series.

Cardinals starter Lance Lynn has been dealing as he makes his final start before this year's All Star Game, in which Lynn will be making his first career appearance. Over six innings, Lynn has allowed just four hits and two walks, giving up zero runs while striking out seven hitters.

The Cardinals took a few innings to get going on offense, but they broke through with five runs in the fifth inning after loading the bases with no outs. Matt Carpenter, playing second base for the first time as a pro, is 1-for-1 with a single and two walks.
