Marlins Vs. Cardinals: St. Louis Hopes To Build More Momentum

The St. Louis Cardinals host the Miami Marlins for a three-game weekend series.

The St. Louis Cardinals have battled back to five games above .500 entering their three-game weekend series against the Miami Marlins, so they have a chance to move into the All-Star break with some serious momentum. The Marlins have the same designs, however. They are on a 6-2 stretch since a rough month of June, and now they have eyes on the .500 mark.

On Friday, the Marlins will turn to Ricky Nolasco (7-6, 4.62 ERA), and the Cardinals will counter will Jake Westbrook (7-6, 3.91 ERA). Here is the TV and fist pitch schedule for the series opener:
