Giants Vs. Cardinals Final Score: San Francisco Holds On For 4-2 Victory

They'll be a rubber match tomorrow at Busch Stadium. The San Francisco Giants took the middle game of the series with a 5-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night. Each team is now 60-50 on the season.

Cards starter Lance Lynn allowed eight hits and four earned runs over six innings to fall to 13-5 on the season. Barry Zito picked up the win for the Giants, improved to 9-8, by allowing eight hits and two earned runs over 6.2 innings.

The Giants scored three in the first on a home run from Buster Posey, his 18th of the year.

Allen Craig would hit solo homers in the third and fifth inning have now has 17 on the year for St. Louis.
