Cardinals Vs. Dodgers: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The St. Louis Cardinals continue a critical four-game weekend series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday evening at Dodger Stadium.

The two teams remain locked in a battle for the final NL Wild Card spot while struggling to begin the September stretch run. After splitting the first two games of the weekend set, both teams are 2-7 in their last nine games with the Cardinals clinging to a one-game lead over the Dodgers for the coveted NL Wild Card spot.

St. Louis will give the ball to left-hander Jaime Garcia (4-7, 4.41 ERA) to start the game on Saturday night. Garcia is just 1-3 in his last four starts which includes a loss to San Diego in his last outing when he gave up seven hits and four runs in just three innings.

Los Angeles will counter with right-hander Joe Blanton (9-13, 4.98 ERA) on the mound. Blanton took a loss in his last start against the San Francisco Giants, giving up six hits and four runs in five and a third innings.

The game is scheduled to start at 8:10 p.m. CT and will be televised on Fox Sports Midwest.
