Cardinals Vs. Dodgers: Los Angeles Scores Two In Ninth To Win

An RBI-single by Juan Rivera in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Los Angeles Dodgers a walk-off 4-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals Saturday.

The Cardinals had a 3-2 lead entering the ninth, but Luis Cruz doubled in a run off of Jason Motte (4-5, 3.11 ERA) to tie it, then Rivera, a pinch-hitter, ended the game off of Motte.

St. Louis led 2-1 after the first inning on a 2-run home run by Allen Craig. The Dodgers tied it in the third on a home run by Mark Ellis, but Craig put the Cardinals back up with an RBI-single in the sixth.

Jaime Garcia pitched 6 innings allowing 2 runs (1 earned) and striking out 5 for St. Louis.
