Still out with an oblique injury, the Cardinals will have to try to make do without pitcher Jake Westbrook as they try to cling to the final wild card spot, with the Los Angeles Dodgers hot on their tails. With the pitcher not expected back until the final week of the regular season, the Cardinals will have to hope that Lance Lynn can fill Westbrook's spot in the rotation.

In his last outing, he certainly looked up to task, pitching six innings against the Dodgers on Thursday and allowing just one run to the wild card contenders. The performance earned Lynn win No. 15 for the season and he'll attempt to earn win 16 against the Astros in game two of a three-game series on Wednesday.

The Cardinals hold a one-game advantage over the Dodgers for the second wild card spot and begin a three-game series against the Astros on Monday night.
