The St. Louis Cardinals head to Houston for a crucial three game series on Monday against the Astros. The Cardinals hold a 2 1/2 game lead over the Milwaukee Brewers for the final spot in the National League wild card race, coming off a series win over the Cubs in Chicago.
The Astros, meanwhile, have a firm hold on the worst record in baseball. Houston has won five of their last ten games, however, and are looking to rebound from a 8-1 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday.
