Steven Jackson A Game-Time Decision, Fantasy Players Look Nervously At Their Benches

So does Steve Spagnuolo, while we're at it... The St. Louis Rams have declared Steven Jackson (and O.J. Otogwe) game-time decisions via Twitter, which is a nice way to cut off all further discussion about Jackson's hazy injury. In another tweet the team mentioned that both players practiced—specifically, that they did "limited work."

The Rams, as the Post-Dispatch actually mentions in a feature article today, are one of the teams still operating with one running back, instead of a combo backfield. That's great when Jackson is healthy, because he's much better than any second running back the Rams could get their hands on, but with Jackson off the field the Rams are left with Kenneth Darby, whose 14 rushes for 49 yards and a touchdown in last week's game was the crowning achievement of his career to date.

It kind of makes you long for the days of Lamar Gordon and Trung Canidate.
