Both SB Nation St. Louis and Turf Show Times took a look at the rest of the St. Louis Rams' schedule yesterday, and, surprisingly enough, both Aaron and VanRam think 8-8 is a possibility. If it happens I'll probably be crushed, but from my vantage here in October it looks positively delightful. Eight wins? The 2009 Rams would manage that in 128 games.
↵What it takes, according to SB Nation St. Louis : Wins at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Arizona Cardinals and against the Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers, and Kansas City Chiefs in the suddenly defensible Edward Jones Dome. VanRam also has the Denver Broncos on his beatable list.
↵I don't think either writer is declaring they will win eight games, full stop. There are all kinds of ways for the Rams to disappoint us from this moment forward, but for once being disappointed isn't a given; the Rams have to do something to earn it. This is what we in the business-cliche business call a paradigm shift.
