Nike NFL Jersey Designs Leaked, Faked, Not Actually That Bad

The internet was briefly atwitter Friday—in the general sense and the specific sense—on "news" that radical new NFL jersey designs had leaked, somehow, from Nike headquarters. The internet was briefly atwitter later that Friday with the news that they were just an independent artist's conception.

But now that they've come in and out of the news cycle, I have to say: I kind of like the Rams version. Admittedly, it's not difficult to prefer a new jersey to the dated Super Bowl-hangover duds they've been wearing ever since they decided it was a good idea to look Dour and Serious. The old-old light blue isn't my preferred color—I miss the regular-old yellow and blue—but I like the yellow piping, and I love the fact that it isn't Millennium Blue and New Century Gold.
