Week 12's fantasy football waiver has been especially kind to Danny Amendola, whose three-game touchdown streak was broken in the St. Louis Rams' loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He's not racking up yards or touchdowns like a real number-one wide receiver, but he's being targeted like one—he's on pace for 96 receptions this year, which is staggering. With Sam Bradford continually improving, and his wide receiving corps continually staying exactly the same, Amendola is up seven percent in ESPN leagues, leaving him at 26.5% ownership.
↵He's the fourth most-added receiver in the NFL this week, which is something he can at least lord over Laurent Robinson, down slightly.
↵Most of the rest of the team was steady, but the Rams' defense continued its slide, falling to ownership in about a fifth of ESPN leagues. The Rams' defense remains relatively stingy, points-wise, but the takeaways aren't there like they are for other defenses, and the more the offense struggles, the more they're on the field, being slowly but surely ground down into a fine dust.
↵But don't worry, fantasy players: Noted heartbreaker Danario Alexander will apparently be back for yet another shot at ruining your team with his devastating addiction to knee surgery.
