Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 15: Chris Ivory Thanks St. Louis

I'm sure the New Orleans Saints' Chris Ivory would have sorted out the team's strange running back situation without the Rams' help, but it turned out that their Week 14 matchup was the perfect venue for the rookie running back to renew his number-one back credentials. In the first half Ivory had his usual high-yardage game going while the Rams scrambled to scramble Drew Brees, and the Saints showed they'd utilize recent returnees Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush in the passing game while giving the bulk of the carries to Ivory. That was one way of appeasing the fantasy football waiver wire-trawlers.

But things got better when he went down with a hamstring injury, because that's when neither Bush nor Thomas Wally Pipped him. With Ivory looking likely for Week 15 his fantasy backers got a tailor-made bill of clean health and depth, and the end result is that he's up 26.5% to 64.5% ownership in ESPN fantasy leagues this week, second in football.

Things are less exciting in Rams news proper. Sam Bradford is down slightly after weeks of consistent adding, as is Danny Amendola; Billy Bajema is down from 0.6 to 0.4, which must mean that two owners out of six got cold feet. The only Ram up in the adding this week is none other than kicker Josh Brown, who's made a precipitous climb to 7.1% ownership.
