Okay, okay, so it's the highlight of the Week 15 NFL Schedule for residents of Missouri. But I think this is the closest the Rams have come in a long time to playing a game non-fans might want to watch. The state rivalry, the playoff implications in two divisions, the fact that Sam Bradford is totally dreamy—it's all coming together to sell out the Edward Jones Dome for the first time since *NSYNC performed there during the Pop Odyssey tour. (Subsequent *NSYNC concerts were hit with local blackouts.)
↵So it's a game St. Louis Rams fans will be able to watch on TV, and it's a game other teams' fans might want to watch, too—it is, at least, the best 12:00 game not featuring future dog owner Michael Vick.
↵The rest of the NFC West can't make that claim. The San Francisco 49ers lost convincingly to the San Diego Chargers on Thursday after taking a tentative step back into the NFC West three-legged race, although the real indignity was having to play on the NFL Network. The Arizona Cardinals will take on the Carolina Panthers in a game that has serious number-one-pick implications. Then the Rams will be able to watch the Seattle Seahawks and the Atlanta Falcons at 3:05, hopefully with their own destiny already in hand.
