The St. Louis Rams aren't likely to get top wide receiver prospect A.J. Green anyway—shockingly enough, they turned out to be simply too good last year to stay in the top of the NFL Draft order. But 2011 NFL Mock Draft-perusers everywhere will be more than happy to show you just how much the draft's consensus-best receiver benefited from Andrew Luck's surprise decision to make considerably less money next season rather than play for the Carolina Panthers. WalterFootball has Green going number-one in the new-draft-order.
↵There's enough space between Green and the rest of the receiving corps that his move up the draft board is unlikely to have a direct effect on the Rams' plans—players like Justin Blackmon and Julio Jones will still be available, unless the Cincinnati Bengals are worried enough about Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens's advanced ages and talk show obligations to make one of the other first round receivers considerably richer than I think they'll be.
↵The Rams are still set to select a receiver in every mock draft you're likely to see until the actual 2011 NFL Draft. It'll take more than a bump from Andrew Luck's departure to change that.
