The DraftDay Twitter account reported today that St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford missed practice again today, further lessening his chances of starting Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints. Bradford had previously missed practice earlier this week, but the Rams coaching staff continued to call his status probable.
If indeed Bradford cannot mend before Sunday's contest, the Ram should once again turn to A.J. Feeley in hopes the veteran can help them find their first win of the season. Feeley, who has started 17 games in his 10-year career, sports an unimpressive career passer rating of 69.1, but played admirably in the Rams' loss to the Dallas Cowboy.
Bradford suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers, missing a start for the first time in his career. Through the first half of the 2011 NFL season, the 0-6 Rams continue to have an injury list that dwarfs most NFL teams:
