Marquis Johnson Set To Make Season Debut Against Saints

After seeing the majority of the secondary succumb to injury, Steve Spagnulo and the St. Louis Rams finally have a piece of good news, as second-year DB Marquis Johnson will be active against the New Orleans Saints. With the Rams needing every available body to try and slow down the New Orleans Saints, the announcement from the St. Louis Rams Twitter page will surely be welcome news:

@STLouisRams: Rams activated CB Marquis Johnson from PUP list. Placed CB Brian Jackson on injured reserve. Johnson expected to play against Saints.

While Johnson hasn't made much of an impact in his short NFL career, Spagnuolo told Howard Balzer that Johnson looked good this past week of practice :

"He looked good out there. We got him playing in a couple different spots and I think he's starting to get his legs underneath him. It was obvious last week, first week he was a little rusty. Actually, as you can see right now they're getting some quality work over there, some extra work in now. So he's doing good."
