Week 9 NFL Power Rankings: Shocking Upset Of The Saints Has Rams Climbing In Rankings

The Rams (1-6) entered Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints (5-3) having scored less points in the first six weeks than the Saints had scored in the previous game. No Sam Bradford? No problem, as the Rams won 31-21.

Talk about an upset. The Rams (1-6) entered Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints (5-3) having scored less points in the first six weeks than the Saints had scored in the previous game. No Sam Bradford? No problem. Star RB Steven Jackson took center stage in the Rams' 31-21 victory over the Saints, rushing the ball 25 times for 159 yards and two touchdowns and keeping the pressure off of backup QB A.J. Feeley

Now the Rams are finally in the win column and are hoping to get QB Sam Bradford back as their schedule lightens over the next few weeks with games at Arizona (1-6), at Cleveland (3-4), and then home against Seattle (2-5). If the Rams are going to make a run, now is the time to get it done.

Here's what they have to say about the Rams in the SB Nation Week 9 Power Rankings:

26. St. Louis Rams (1-6, LW: 30): Rams beat Saints. Perfect example of how much we know about the NFL (which is very little).

A four spot jump seems about right for such an impressive showing against all odds.
