A shocking 31-21 upset of the New Orleans Saints isn't cause for much respect in Pete Prisco's world. The St. Louis Rams still sit very low in the CBS Sports NFL Power Rankings, behind the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, but still ahead of the Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, and Indianapolis Colts.
Pete Prisco of CBS Sports only moved the Rams up one spot despite their impressive victory, but he does have some words of praise for the team: "Give Steve Spagnuolo credit for getting this team ready to play against the Saints. The play of that defense has to be inspiring for next season."
The Rams finally have a win to their name, and it might be the most impressive victory of any bottom feeder in the rankings. If they can get Sam Bradford healthy to pair with recently acquired WR Brandon Lloyd, maybe this is the start of an upward trend for the Rams.
