Rams Vs. Seahawks Score Update: Sam Bradford, Brandon Lloyd Connect For Touchdown Early

The St. Louis Rams’ bright spot in their much-maligned passing game continues to be the connection between Sam Bradford and newly acquired number-one wide receiver Brandon Lloyd; coming off an interception, Bradford had time to throw on second-and-long and took advantage of it for a score, burying a 30-yard line-drive into Lloyd’s pads for his fifth touchdown of the season and an early 7-0 lead on the Seattle Seahawks.

It’s a rare bit of early success for the Rams, who’ve found themselves deep in the hole both in the 2011 season as a whole and in most of its individual games. If the Rams can continue to victimize Tarvaris Jackson, Steven Jackson and Bradford could put this game out of reach early should they continue to play the way they have here.

Brandon Lloyd has put up big numbers since being reunited with Josh McDaniels’s offense, which made him into a marquee name with the Denver Broncos. The touchdown was his third in five starts since going to the Rams in trade.
