Rams Vs. Seahawks Score Update: Sidney Rice's Touchdown Grab Ties Game At 7-7

Tarvaris Jackson struggled mightily for most of the first half of the Seattle Seahawks’ contest against the St. Louis Rams, throwing two early touchdowns and being sacked repeatedly by the Rams’ overdriven defensive line, but he and Sidney Rice managed to connect for a touchdown, the wide receiver’s third TD reception of the year, tying the score at 7-7 midway through the second quarter.

The touchdown is Rice’s third of the year—and the perennially beleaguered Jackson’s first since Week 5, and seventh overall. It came after Donnie Jones’s sub-optimal punt put the Seahawks in great field position for the second time in as many attempts, and this time even Jackson could take advantage of it, throwing a bullet to Rice in the middle of the end zone.

The score emphasizes the Rams’ continued inability to take advantage of circumstances by actually putting points on the board—despite playing significantly better than the Seahawks on each side of the ball, they find themselves tied with eight minutes to go in the first half.
