The five-writer panel over at ESPN has released its NFL Week 12 Power Rankings list, and the St. Louis Rams have fallen back one spot to No. 31 overall. At that spot, the Rams are listed as the NFC's worst, with the Carolina Panthers at No. 30 and the Minnesota Vikings at No. 29. Here is what Mike Sando had to say about the Rams this week:
31 Rams 2-8 Injuries have been a big factor, but they cannot fully explain how far the Rams have fallen. (Sando)
Here is a look at the rest of the NFC West:
2 49ers 9-1 A victory over the Ravens would leave the 49ers with a 5-0 record in the Eastern time zone this season. (Sando)
23 Seahawks 4-6 The Seahawks have quietly put themselves in position to challenge .500 this season. (Sando)
27 Cardinals 3-7 Kevin Kolb has greater appeal to the Cardinals after John Skelton's 6-for-19 game against the 49ers. (Sando)
