Sam Bradford Fantasy Projection: Bradford An Emergency Play Only

As the Rams' have struggled on offense in 2011, Sam Bradford's role in the offense has morphed more into that of a game manager than the star QB he may be down the road. Though this makes sense for the Rams, for fantasy purposes it has rendered Bradford all but unplayable, and in Week 12, fantasy owners, even those in two quarterback leagues, should look elsewhere for production.

Despite facing one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL in Week 12, numberFire.com projects Bradford as the 23rd overall QB, behind peers such as Matt Leinart, Rex Grossman and Christian Ponder. The trouble for Bradford from a fantasy prospective has been his inability to rack up touchdowns, as he's only totaled five on the season, and has yet to have a game with multiple TDs. Though the Cardinals give up an average of 256 yards per game through the air, they've only given up 11 passing touchdowns on the season, and that doesn't bode well for any Bradford fantasy owner.
