Sam Bradford Injury Update: Rams Say Signs Pointing Towards QB Playing

We still don't have any official word yet on whether the St. Louis Rams will play quarterback Sam Bradford today against the Arizona Cardinals, but signs of optimism appear to be emerging. Bradford's been battling a high ankle injury for the past few weeks, and playing infrequently during practices this week.

Earlier on Sunday, the team's official Twitter feed reported that Bradford would test his ankle just before the game and that the team would proceed to make a decision then. They've since made another tweet, saying that "signs [are] pointing to QB Sam Bradford making the start today," while adding that they'd announce when an official decision is made.

Right now, there are a bunch of reasons to believe that Bradford will play today. It's still not official, but it appears to be probable, and we may just be waiting for an official word at this point. I'm guessing that A.J. Feeley is still fully prepared to play against the Cardinals, though.
