Brandon Lloyd Fantasy Projection: Lloyd's Value Dependent On Quarterback

Very rarely is the entirety of a top receiver's fantasy value held in the hands of his quarterback, but not every quarterback is Tom Brandstater. Yes, that's the story for Brandon Lloyd this week: if Sam Bradford does indeed make the start vs. the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night, Lloyd would be a passable flex option or WR2, but if Brandstater goes for Bradford, don't even think about bringing Lloyd off of your bench.

Lloyd has been fantastic since joining the rams, hauling in touchdowns in four of seven games. But last week, with AJ Feely in for the injured Bradford, Lloyd was held to one catch for 34 yards. Brandstater is Feely's back up, and the math there doesn't inspire much confidence in Lloyd's ability to be a fantasy producer if he's under center. numberFire.com has Lloyd projected as the No. 20 wide receiver of the week, but that is totally contingent on who is throwing him the ball.
