Rams Vs. Seahawks Score: Seattle Blocks Punt, Scores In Monday Night Football Opener

The St. Louis Rams' offensive woes continued in the first quarter of their aborted Monday Night Football contest against the Seattle Seahawks, when Michael Robinson recovered a blocked Donnie Jones punt and ran it into the end zone to give the Seahawks an early 7-0 lead, following an embarrassingly conservative third-and-nine draw play to Jerious Norwood. It was just more of the usual ugliness from a Rams offense that has never once seemed in synch, even with Sam Bradford back in the lineup; after a nice fake from Bradford led to a big play for Lance Kendricks, the offense was unable to get over the 50, let alone score.

The Seahawks' 7-0 lead looks insurmountable already, but that's just the sadness talking—the Rams are bad, but the Seahawks aren't exactly great. And that's all that can be said about this week's Monday Night Football, much to the chagrin of all your rowdy friends and ESPN's programming directors. More Sam Bradford watching to follow here on SB Nation St. Louis.
