The St. Louis Rams were hopping to build a semblance of momentum after a 29-yard field goal by Josh Brown gave the team its second score of the night, but Leon Washington had other ideas. The Seahawks' dynamic return man took the ensuing kickoff 54 yards to kick-start a late Seattle Seahawks scoring drive in the third quarter.
Seattle would get six on a 29-yard touchdown pass from Tarvaris Jackson to Doug Baldwin. Here's the video:
Seattle's four-play, 50-yard scoring drive also included a 22-yard strike from Jackson to Baldwin on the play before the touchdown.
Jackson is currently 20-of-31 for 212 yards and a touchdown. Perhaps most discouraging for St. Louis is that they've been unable to force Jackson into throwing the ball their way. Jackson had 10 touchdowns and 12 interceptions coming into the game for Seattle.
A 48-yard field goal by Steven Hauschka just extended Seattle's lead to 23-6. The kick capped a 9-play, 56-yard scoring drive.
