NFL Power Rankings Week 15: Pro Football Talk Puts St. Louis Rams At No. 31

The St. Louis Rams (2-11) have had a generally un-redeemable season. Their injured reserve list has 14 players on it, including starters from both offense and defense. Behind a makeshift offensive line, their starting QB Sam Bradford has sustained and struggling with injuries all season.

Now, with the 2012 NFL Draft looming, the Rams cannot even win the top pick. Sitting at 2-11, the Rams trail the win-less Indianapolis Colts (0-13) and unless the Colts win out, the Rams seem likely to settle at No. 2 in the draft.

Well, according to the Week 15 NFL Power Rankings from Mike Florio of NBC's Pro Football Talk, the Rams do not have much of a chance at getting to No. 1, but at least they might get something new in 2011 anyway:

31. Rams (No. 31; 2-11): Well, at least Steve Spagnuolo won’t be the second coach fired this year. Or the third.

Speculation has begun to swirl that the Rams are poised to fire coach Steve Spagnuolo, who has coached the team for three season after he led the Super Bowl-winning New York Giants defense in 2008. For Rams fans, that may not be as useful as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 draft, but it would be at least something.
