A long and frustrating season for the St. Louis Rams reached national television last week under the bright lights of ESPN when the Rams fell in Seattle 30-13. St. Louis has three games remaining this year, with only its draft position still at stake. Right now, the Rams are tied with the Minnesota Vikings for the second worst record in the league, only behind the Indianapolis Colts.
It's been a particularly difficult season for second year starting quarterback Sam Bradford. Bradford has battled through injuries this season, but has also been very underwhelming when on the field. A threw three interceptions a week ago to the Seahawks, and was held out of practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury.
Defensive end Chris Long also missed practice with an ankle injury. The Virginia product has 12 sacks this season.
