NFL Picks and Predictions, Week 13: ESPN Panel Has Consensus On A 49ers Win

The last place St. Louis Rams travel to take on the first place San Francisco 49ers in an NFC West intra-divisional matchup in Week 13. Alex Smith, Patrick Willis and company are hard to beat at home (5-1), while Sam Bradford and the Rams have trouble winning on the road (1-4) and within the conference (1-8). While the Niners are angling for home field advantage in the NFC playoff bracket, Rams coaches are just trying to hold on to their jobs. Earlier this week, SB Nation St. Louis posted picks for Week 13 in the NFL and had this to say about the game:

St. Louis Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers - The Rams are an unmitigated disaster, and the calls for firing head coach Steve Spagnuolo and GM Billy Devaney are getting louder with each loss. In that case, expect the calls to get a bit louder once again, as the the 49ers are a really good football team with a terrific home record (5-1). Pick: 49ers

The eight-man panel at ESPN has also weighed in on the matchup, and are in complete agreement that the 49ers will win on Sunday. As for other teams within the division, the panel also unanimously picked the Dallas Cowboys to beat the Arizona Cardinals. As for the Thursday night game, only three experts correctly picked the Seahawks to win (Merril Hoge, Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter).
