Rams Vs. 49ers Score Update: San Francisco Leads 3-0 In Second Quarter

The St. Louis Rams offense struggled to get things going in the first quarter without quarterback Sam Bradford, but the defense was able to keep the San Francisco 49ers out of the end zone. San Francisco leads 3-0 early in the second quarter, as the Rams try to pull off a shocking upset.

San Francisco has the best rush defense in the league, and they've been doing their thing so far, limiting Rams running back Steven Jackson to just six yards on his first three carries. St. Louis has had a bit more luck with the pass, as A.J. Feeley is 3-for-5 for 38 yards passings so far, although the Rams have had possession for less than four minutes so far.

The 49ers have dominated possession so far on Sunday, holding the ball for 14 of the first 18 minutes. Quarterback Alex Smith has completed 8 of 10 passes for 72 yards so far, and the team has 30 yards rushing on ten carries. San Francisco currently has a 9-2 record on the year, while St. Louis has the unfortunate 2-9 inverse.
