The St. Louis Rams' dream-pick in every 2011 NFL Mock Draft since the draft was destabilized by the defections of Andrew Luck and wide receivers Michael Floyd and Justin Blackmon has been Julio Jones, but according to Turf Show Times it's looking increasingly unlikely that the Rams will manage to get it done, with the Atlanta Falcons apparently interested in trading up to get one of the two coveted receivers still on the board. They join the Washington Redskins, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cleveland Browns as teams interested in A.J. Green and Julio Jones who either draft or would like to draft before the Rams come in with the 14th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Such is the problem of having a comeback season with a rookie star: You don't get a chance to draft that rookie star's sidekick. The Chicago Bulls solved the problem by trading Olden Polynice for the rights to Scottie Pippen. I don't think anybody's going to trade Julio Jones for Aldon Smith, unfortunately.
