2011 NFL Mock Draft: Julio Jones Still A St. Louis Rams Favorite

Julio Jones remains the St. Louis Rams' pick of choice in SB Nation's weekly 2011 NFL Mock Draft, with another set of strange picks leading to the second-best wide receiver in the 2011 NFL Draft going to the Rams all the way at 14. Here's how the possible receiver picks go: The Cincinnati Bengals pick Blaine Gabbert, who slips to No. 4; the Cleveland Browns take A.J. Green, as is their wont, at No. 6; the Washington Redskins pick Jake Locker in a major surprise at No. 10; and the Rams get Julio Jones, somehow.

Other draft surprises: Aldon Smith falls all the way to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 20, and Corey Liuget, Rams pick-by-default since March, goes to the Indianapolis Colts at 22, spurned by both the Rams and erstwhile suitors the New York Giants.

A lot would need to happen for this draft to actually happen, but as 2011 NFL Mock Drafts go it isn't totally implausible. For more optimism, read my book, Not Totally implausible: The Julio Jones Story.
