This week in St. Louis Rams parenting lessons: Time for one of those awkward moments where you have to tell your franchise quarterback that his favorite offensive scheme has only been driven up to a great big farm in the country, where it can throw the deep ball to tight ends in trick formations all day and nobody bothers it about running the ball or scoring fewer touchdowns than any team has in recent memory: Sam Bradford, according to the Post-Dispatch's Bryan Burwell, loves the Josh McDaniels offense.
↵The Rams, on the verge, reportedly, of hiring Jeff Fisher, are less enamored of it, despite the extra year on his contract.
↵The Kansas City Chiefs, finally, don't mind separating franchise quarterback from offensive coordinator. All this adds up to a situation in which Bradford, who probably enjoys the (pass-heavy) offensive dynamism afforded him by McDaniels—at least in theory—has to deal with Jeff Fisher's fondness for pressing the Eddie George button until it falls off.
