With a big 19-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks, the Rams evened their record to 2-2 and have given themselves an opportunity to be in great position if they can earn a win over the undefeated Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night. The win earned the respect of many and gave Joel Thorman of SB Nation reason to move them up six spots in his latest power rankings, a move he's seemingly been waiting for the opportunity to make.
22. St. Louis Rams (LW: 28, 2-2): There we go. I've been on the Rams bandwagon since early this season and now they have a chance to move past .500 -- that's a big deal in St. Louis -- by beating Arizona this weekend.
It wasn't just Thorman though, as the Rams received a sizable boost in other power rankings as well. In Yahoo! Sports' ranking after Week 3, they too had the Rams as No. 28, but gave a similar bump in favor of the Rams after their win over the Seahawks.

It's probably not a good thing when you have players openly saying that the placekicker is their team's MVP through four games. These are the Rams, though, and it's not often that they're .500, so they wouldn't even care if their punter manufactured their only touchdown of the day. Which he did.
The Rams were the beneficiaries of a jump of six spots in ESPN's power rankings as well, but that was enough to give them a spot in the top 20 as the slid ahead of the Lions for the No. 19 spot.
The Rams are 1-0 in NFC West after going 4-26 in the division from 2007-2011. (Sando)
