He's on the road to recovery, but St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola will not yet be on the field for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots in London, according to a report by Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Thursday.
Amendola participated in some parts of the team's practice -- including individual drills, pass-catching and punt returning -- on Wednesday, according to the article, but was officially listed as limited on the Rams' injury report.
After dislocating his clavicle during St. Louis' 17-3 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 4, Amendola's recovery period was set at 4-8 weeks. But, as the report indicates, with the Rams getting their bye week after their trip to England in Week 8, there's a chance Amendola could be in the lineup when St. Louis visits the San Francisco 49ers on Nov. 11.
Prior to the injury, Amendola had recorded a team-leading 32 receptions for 395 yards and two touchdowns.
