St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola has left Thursday's game against the Arizona Cardinals with an apparent shoulder injury. The veteran wideout was injured on an incomplete pass on third and five with eight minutes left to play in the second quarter. Trainers quickly took him to the locker room. The pass had originally been ruled complete, but was overturned on replay. Amendola looked to be in pain, but more annoyed that the catch had been nullified.
There is no word yet from team officials as to whether Amendola can or will return to the game. Amendola had been questionable for tonight's game with an ankle injury, but quickly put any doubts to rest by catching a 44 yard pass from Sam Bradford on the second play from scrimmage. The Texas Tech product is in his fourth season with the Rams.
The Rams currently lead the Arizona Cardinals 10-3 as the game approaches halftime.
