Circumvented Danny Amendola injury reports are not a surprise to anyone, at this point, but after being promoted from questionable to doubtful following a week in a walking boot, the St. Louis Rams were prepared to go without their top wide receiver Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. But Jim Thomas of the Post-Dispatch reported just ahead of that Week 12 matchup that he would play, after all, or would at least try to: Danny Amendola is active.
Amazingly, WR Danny Amendola will be active Sunday for Rams after missing entire week of practice and wearing a walking boot all week.

At this point I guess it's simply impossible to count Danny Amendola out of any particular game. No word yet as to how much the Rams will play their hobbled star--in his two games since coming back from an even more serious collarbone injury he's yet to play a full game--but even a limited performance from Amendola is better than what the Rams have seen from their offense when he's out of the rotation entirely.
We'll update this storystream with the latest on Amendola's many and varied injury problems, so stay tuned. But for now, at least, he's managed to convince Jeff Fisher he's healthy.
