Rams vs. Cardinals score update: Steven Jackson, Sam Bradford outstanding as Rams take 21-17 lead

Steven Jackson broke away from Arizona Cardinals defenders for his longest run of the season and then Sam Bradford did the rest in the St. Louis Rams' sharpest drive of their Week 12 game, giving St. Louis a 21-17 lead over their hosts in Phoenix and giving Rams fans what they've been hoping for all season. Bradford hit Chris Givens on a beautiful pass into the end zone on second-and-one, picking up his second touchdown in as many drives after a slow, sloppy start.

With 10 minutes to go in the third quarter the Rams' offense finally looked alive. Jackson looks set to pick up 100 yards for just the second time all season; after his long run he's got 12 carries for 91. Bradford, meanwhile, has recovered from an interception and a hit that briefly took him out of the game to play as well as he has all year. He's 7-for-13 for 183 yards and two touchdowns.

With the defense finally drawing turnovers--Janoris Jenkins has a pick-six, and Craig Dahl an interception of his own--the Rams are in great position to pick up their first win since they beat the Cardinals almost two months ago. But they've still got nearly two quarters to go.
