Rams vs. Cardinals score update: Janoris Jenkins turns interception into second pick-six of the afternoon

St. Louis Rams rookie cornerback Janoris Jenkins picks off his second interception--and scores his second touchdown--against rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley and the Arizona Cardinals.

The St. Louis Rams' turnoverless streak has ended in a hurry--with the third quarter on the wane they snagged their third interception of the game against rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley and the Arizona Cardinals, and this one was good for Janoris Jenkins's second pick six touchdown of the afternoon. The Rams lead by a score of 28-17 going into the fourth quarter, and half those points belong to their second-round rookie cornerback.

Lindley got off to a hot start in the first quarter, but after working well in a risk-averse offense to get the Cardinals on the board he's thrown three picks. The most recent one was particularly egregious; he underthrew Larry Fitzgerald badly enough that Jenkins caught the ball in the open field. Overall he's 20-for-32 for 211 yards and no touchdowns in his first NFL start, in relief of Kevin Kolb and John Skelton.

The Rams' offense hasn't been great--Sam Bradford made some brutal errors of his own--but Steven Jackson is on the way to 100 yards for the second time all season and Bradford has two nice-looking touchdown passes, 37-yarders to both Chris Givens and Lance Kendricks.
