The St. Louis Rams have lost three straight games and in each of those three games they have been without wide receiver Danny Amendola. After suffering a collarbone injury during a Thursday night game against the Arizona Cardinals, Amendola may be prepared to return to action, though, when the Rams travel to face the San Francisco 49ers.
Amendola was listed as questionable to play against the New England Patriots in Week 8 before a bye week in Week 9 allowed an extra week of recovery. He practiced on a limited basis in each of the practices prior to the game against the Patriots.
Despite the injury costing him each of the last three games and the majority of the game against the Cardinals, Amendola still leads the Rams in receptions with 32 and receiving yards with 395. Against the Redskins in Week 2, Amendola racked up 160 yards receiving on 15 receptions.
