Super Bowl 2013 Odds: Niners Near Top Of List, Rams A Longshot

This may come as a shock: The St. Louis Rams are considered longshots to win the 2013 Super Bowl. In their just released odds for the next Super Bowl champion, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas pegs the Rams' chances at holding the Lombardi Trophy at 50-1, which is not even good for worst in the NFC West.

The leader of the division pack is unsurprisingly the San Francisco 49ers, who are listed by the MGM at 10-1 odds, which ties them with the New Orleans Saints for sixth best odds in all of the NFL. Coming in tied with the Rams and five other teams at 50-1 is the Seattle Seahawks, but both squads outpace the Arizona Cardinals, who are listed at 60-1, which puts them as the fifth least likely team to win the NFL.

The list is bookended by the New England Patriots, who are pegged at 5-1, and the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are the ultimate longshots at 150-1.
