Tim Tebow Trade: St. Louis Rams Are Somehow Interested In Broncos Quarterback

Well, okay, sure: Adam Schefter is reporting that the St. Louis Rams are not only interested in trading for Tim Tebow—they're interested enough that they get space near the top of a tweet about his rumored problems with his current suitors, the New York Jets:

You'll remember that the St. Louis Rams already have a quarterback with an outstanding college career and better NFL numbers from the 2010 NFL Draft—Sam Bradford. If Tim Tebow were willing to be a full-time indefinitely-useful-offensive-weapon, or trick-receiver tight end-slash-fullback, or basically just however the Pittsburgh Steelers used Kordell Stewart that one time, minus the punting, something interesting could probably come of a Tim Tebow trade.

But Bernie Miklasz is right to worry that the value will not be worth the spectacle. Tim Tebow's probably better than the St. Louis Rams' current backup quarterback options, but the thing about Kellen Clemens is that fans won't clamor for him to replace Sam Bradford permanently if he has three wins with a QB rating around 71.
