Tim Tebow Trade Rumors: Jets, Jaguars Push Past Rams In Latest Report

The increasingly diffuse Tim Tebow trade rumors look like they're nearing their climax Wednesday. After an afternoon of St. Louis Rams rumors the latest trade news centers around the New York Jets and the Jacksonville Jaguars, with Tebow, according to a report from Adam Schefter, being allowed by the Denver Broncos to choose between New York and the most Tebow-friendly place in America, where he'd compete with Mizzou's Blaine Gabbert for a starting role that's sure to get heated fast.

Both situations look better than in St. Louis, where the Rams are wholly devoted to Sam Bradford, and it's hard to see Tebow shirking his Florida fanbase for a backup job at the Edward Jones Dome—or the harsh light of the New York tabloids, for that matter.

For a while it looked like the Rams were serious contenders, but the latest rumors suggest they'll be looking elsewhere for their backup quarterback—for better or worse.
