2012 Rams Free Agency: Jerricho Cotchery To Visit Rams Next Week

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the St. Louis Rams may not wait until the 2012 NFL Draft to upgrade their receiving corps. Free agent WR Jerricho Cotchery is reportedly prepared to visit the Rams next week, potentially bringing both receiving and returning experience to an offense that had the fewest passing touchdowns (9) in the league:

Cotchery has played seven years in the NFL, catching 374 passes for 4751 yards and 20 touchdowns. Here is a look at his stats from the 2011 season, when he played mostly in a reserve role with the Pittsburgh Steelers:
